Product Warranty

All products sold on https://informaticabarata.com/en/ are new and original , and are covered by a legal guarantee in accordance with current regulations. In Spain, the legal guarantee is 3 years (Law 7/2021), applicable to end consumers. In the rest of the EU, the standard 2-year period applies (Directive 1999/44/EC).

What does the warranty cover?

The warranty covers any lack of conformity of the product with respect to its description, operation or characteristics, including:

  • Products that don't work from the first use.
  • Products that do not match what is advertised or described in the product information sheet.
  • Components that have manufacturing defects.

What is not covered by the warranty?

The warranty will not cover:

  • Physical damage (bumps, breakage, misuse).
  • Contact with liquids if the product is not designed for it.
  • Installation of unauthorized software or manipulation of the operating system.
  • Technical interventions by unauthorized third parties.
  • Failure due to use with incompatible components or incorrect installation.

How do I process a warranty claim?

You can start the process from your customer area by requesting an incident or RMA. Our technical support team will review your case and send you an RMA label via email.

It is essential that the product be returned in its original packaging with all accessories . Shipping must be prepaid . The delivery address will be indicated on the RMA label.

Make sure to pack the product properly. If it arrives damaged during shipping, it will be the customer's responsibility.

What happens if the product doesn't work?

If the product has a defect covered by the warranty, the manufacturer may choose to repair, replace, or refund it . In the event of a stock shortage, the amount paid will be refunded using the same payment method (except for cash on delivery, which will be refunded via bank transfer).

Estimated repair or replacement times are usually up to 3 weeks . You can check the status at any time from your customer area, and we will also notify you periodically by email.

What happens to my personal data on the device?

The warranty does not cover the recovery of personal data or software settings. We recommend backing up your data before sending the device. In many cases, the manufacturer will reset the product to its factory settings.

What happens if the product is working correctly or has been tampered with?

If, after inspection, it is determined that the product has no defects or has not been improperly handled, the manufacturer may deny the warranty. In this case, the customer will be responsible for the return shipping costs or must arrange for the product to be collected at their own expense.

To avoid this situation, our technical team will conduct a preliminary evaluation with you before shipping the product.

Do the products on sale have a warranty?

Yes. All products, whether discounted, free, or on promotion , have the same legal guarantee as the rest, without exception.

These conditions apply to individual consumers. Businesses or resellers will be governed by the warranties offered directly by the manufacturer and by the regulations established for business-to-business trade.
